The daughter of Frank and Hedwig (Kulczak) Kwapich, she was born January 17, 1925 in Toledo.

John Henry Currie, age 91, of Temperance, MI, passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2016.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Peggy" Greeley and Margaret "Midge" Kneisley. Dear father of Mary Kay (Rick) DeMayo, Sean, Michael (Carolyn), Patrick (Debra), Margaret (Albert Pudelek) and Daniel. Grandfather of Joseph Currie. Also survived by loving siblings--brother Francis (Joan), and sister Mary "Eleanor."

Beverly Clark

Beverly Ann Clark, 74 years, of Toledo, OH passed away on January 6, 2017. The daughter of Rosemary (DeLucia) Warner and Donald P. Schuette she was born on April 14, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan.

Beverly as a child had an amazing and strong singing voice. She sang at age 4 on Uncle Jules radio program. She was known as "Little Miss Teresa Brewer". She became a recording artist known as "Beverly Bea"; songs titled, Darling and Sugar Plum, at the age of 15. She continued singing throughout her life with her strong passion in gospel music. She worked for Job and Family services in Lucas County until 2003.

Mark Anthony Sadoski, 60 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away January 5, 2017 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio after a yearlong battle with cancer. The son of Norbert and Mary (Komorowski) Sadoski he was born on June 13, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio.

Norbert Beauch

Norbert James Beauch, age 85 years, of Temperance, MI passed away January 4, 2017 in Vibrant Life Assisted Living under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The son of Clayton and Frances (Stark) Beauch he was born on November 8, 1931 in LaSalle, MI. 

Norbert served in the Korean War where he was the recipient of the 2 Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart Medal. He married the love of his life Dolores Ridgeway on May 28, 1954 whom he spent 57 years together before her passing on June 30, 2011. He worked for Colombia Gas of Ohio as an inspector retiring in 1994 after 37 years of service. Norbert enjoyed playing the guitar, deer hunting with his brothers in Pennsylvania, bowling with his sons and grandchildren and taking care of his family and yard.

Madeline Slupczynski

Madeline Lillian Slupczynski, 66 years, of Temperance, Michigan died Friday, December 30, 2016 in her home surrounded by her immediate family after a short battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. 

 Born in Detroit, Michigan on January 8, 1950 to Peter and Marion Sloan, Madeline was the youngest of three children. Madeline met her husband of 46 years when she was just 15 years old. From then on her and her husband were inseparable. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to so many throughout the years.

William Gangway

God called his name and William Leon Gangway went to his eternal home on December 29, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. The son of Leroy John and Gloria Catherine (Ziarno) Gangway he was born on July 27, 1955.

Bill met all his life challenges with a positive attitude and outlook.   He would say he had 29 life’s as he kept beating the doctor’s prognosis till he was called home at the age of 61.  No matter how he felt or if he was in pain Bill would always say “I’m ok”.

James King

James Earl King passed away at Aspen Grove Senior Community in Lambertville, MI on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the age of 93. He was born in Toledo, OH on December 6, 1923 to George Louis and Lottie Elizabeth (Morgan) King.

He graduated from Woodward High School and served in WWII in the U.S. Navy as a machinist mate on the aircraft carrier USS Savo Island in the South Pacific. He was a journeyman tool and die maker for the Autolite Company in the early 1950's, then joined the Chrysler Corporation in Highland Park, MI where he remained until retirement in 1985. He liked bowling, working with his scroll saw making boxes and plaques, and especially loved golf.

Barbara Jean Brock, 69 years, of Toledo, OH passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. The daughter of Edmund and Cecelia (Luty) Razny, she was born November 7, 1947 in Toledo.

Barbara was a 1965 graduate of Whitmer High School. August 4, 1973 she married William Brock in Trinity Church, Toledo. Barbara loved shopping and traveling.
