Thomas John Rasey, age 29, of Temperance, Michigan passed away on Friday February 5, 2016 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by the love of his parents.
 Tommy was born to Don and Kathy (Cousino) Rasey on March 15, 1986 in Toledo, Ohio, he attended the Monroe County Intermediate School District.
 Tommy had many special needs, yet he touched many lives, and was loved deeply by family and friends.  He loved music, the movie "The Little Mermaid", and to listen to the activities and voices surrounding him. He never walked on earth, and is now able to run into the arms of Jesus.

Melvin Watkins

Melvin Graves Watkins, born March 7, 1932 in Florence, Alabama, to William and Annie (née Young). As a young man he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS President Jackson, touring the Pacific. After his service, Melvin joined his beloved older brother Wayland (“Ben”) in Toledo. Melvin married Patricia Mallory on June 20, 1970. Together, they raised their family in Bedford, Michigan.

Vera E. DeVries, 89 years, of Erie, MI passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 in Regency Hospital, Sylvania, OH. The daughter of Earl and Eva (Reau) Spotts she was born April 10, 1926 in Monroe, MI.

A strong willed person and extremely hard worker, she worked at Mead Containers for 25 years and Lehman’s Greenhouse for 30 years. She liked helping others and volunteered her time at the Lion’s Den. Vera enjoyed making her lawn and flowers beautiful.

The son of Stanley and Mary (Wozniak) Zachman he was born April 12, 1930 in Toledo, OH. Jerome was a 1948 graduate of Macomber High School in Toledo.

Eugene Batesole

Eugene E. Batesole, 93 years, of Toledo, OH passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 in his home. A railroad clerk for Detroit and Toledo Shore Line, he retired in 1983 after 33 years.

The son of Garnet and Marie (Hopkins) Batesole he was born December 5, 1922 in Toledo. Eugene was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. October 14, 1950 he married Mary Rose Grosschedl in Sacred Heart Church in Toledo.

Harry Stubleski

Harry Michael Stubleski, 98, of Temperance, died peacefully at home on Saturday evening, Jan. 9, 2016, under the gentle guidance of Hospice, the loving care of his children, and the constant companionship of his dog, Tudi. Harry was born Feb. 28,  1917, and lived his entire life at the family farm on Secor Road. He was the third son of Walter and Josephine (Nusbaum) Stubleski. He was a life-long member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Temperance, which his family helped build.
