Lawrence “Larry” Irvin, a Senior Electrical Engineer, died unexpectedly on May 18, 2016 at the age of 59 in his home in New Albany, IN.
Larry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debbie Irvin (Allore); his children, Chad (Mandy) Irvin and Jennifer Irvin; his mother Cecelia Irvin, his sister Betty Irvin, his 3 grandchildren, Seth, Brayden and Jaxen Irvin, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Irvin and his father, Carl Irvin.
Marcia Rose, 69 years, of Temperance, MI passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 in The Toledo Hospital. The daughter of Daniel F. and Margaret (Lopinski) Hojnacki she was born June 28, 1946 in Toledo, OH.
A graduate of St. Mary Academy in Monroe, MI; she attended cosmetology school and worked as a beautician in Point Place. She married James Thomas Rose in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Monroe in 1970 and he preceded her in death on November 21, 2015.
Roger Allen Nichols, 76 years, of Temperance, MI passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in the Advanced Health Care Center, Toledo, OH. Roger retired in 1977 after serving in the U.S. Army for nearly 21 years during the Korean and Vietnam War, as an aircraft mechanic. After retirement, he worked with his brother, George as a diesel mechanic for Northern Steel in Erie, MI. The son of George E. and Marguerite (Schomma) Nichols, Sr. he was born November 4, 1939 in Lambertville, MI.
James D. Lynch, 67 years, of Erie, MI passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 in the VA Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI. He worked as a manager at Daimler Chrysler for 32 years. The son of James H. and Helen (Lane) Lynch he was born February 16, 1949 in Harrodsburg, KY.
Ronald W. LaPointe, 70 years, of Erie, MI passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. The son of Ira and Gladys (Ravery) LaPointe he was born May 8, 1945 in Monroe, MI.
He attended St. Joseph's Grade School in Erie and graduated from Mason High School. Ron served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant.
Stephen E. Lane, Jr., also known as Steve, Freight Train-Wrecking Crane Lane, Virgil Ward, Junior, Stevie, or Axel, age 51, of Temperance, MI was found at his home in eternal peace on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Steve was born March 6, 1965, the son of Steve and Barb Lane, adoring and proud parent with Penny (Duvall) Lane to beautiful daughters, Patience (Paige) and Hunter Lane and recent grandfather to Ayvah Lane Lewis.
Robert L. Nusbaum, 87 years, of Temperance, MI passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 in the Toledo Hospital. He worked 34 years as a repair welder for GM Powertrain (formerly Hydra-Matic Plant), retiring in 1991. The son of Ernest and Martha (Rochowiak) Nusbaum he was born April 15, 1929 in Temperance. A 1947 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Toledo, OH, he then served 2 years in the U.S. Army.
Carol Ann Dodd (Simon), 59 years of Toledo, OH passed away April 20, 2016 in the Toledo Hospital. The daughter of Francis and Eileen (Frost) Simon, she was born December 21, 1956 in Toledo, OH.
Carol attended St. Michael's Grade School and Central Catholic High School. Upon graduating from high school, she went onto the University of Toledo graduating with a Bachelor degree in Education. She retired from Toledo Public Schools.
Judy Ann Eaton, age 70 of Temperance, MI passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. The daughter of Melvin and Iva (Wolff) Squire, she was born on November 23, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio. Judy graduated from Anthony Wayne High School. Judy retired from St. Luke's Hospital in 1987. She also worked a part-time job at Aspen Grove Assisted Living.
