Myrtle “”Bernice”” Fletcher, age 88 of Lambertville, Michigan passed away on Monday April 4, 2016 in Aspen Grove Assisted Living. The daughter of Harry and Myrtle (Hendra) Slack, Bernice was born in Windsor, Ontario Canada on September 3, 1927.
Bernice was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the happiest when spending time with family and playing cards with her many friends. She will be remembered by her family as a kind, sweet, and gentle soul.
Bernice is survived by her children, David (Margaret) Fletcher and Carol (Doug) Peters; grandchildren, Jessica (Eric) Ganzel, Scott (Tina) Fletcher, Mark (Laura) Peters, Andrew (Megan) Fletcher, Laura (Josh) Beach, Matthew Dordal, and Rachel Dordal. Also surviving are her six great-grandchildren, Josh, Nathan, Raegan, Daniel, Annabelle, and Samantha; sisters, Ida (Gary) O’Neil and Mary (Chuck) Rice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald and her brother Edward “”Bud”” Slack
A Memorial gathering will be held Monday, April 11, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI. where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
