Bonnie J. Dufour, 70, of Toledo, passed away on January 23, 2016. Beloved wife of 51 years to Thomas E. Dufour; loving mother of Thomas W. (Danielle) Dufour; sister to Harriet Mexicott; an aunt to many; and a dear friend to many more.
She was the daughter of the late Harry and Ann Benford of Toledo and a graduate of Whitney High School. Bonnie was renowned for her hospitality, her wit, and a lighthearted humor that could bring a smile to even the most dry of people. Bonnie loved to laugh, lived to love, and enjoyed taking care of her home – a place which will be empty without her exuberance and personality. She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Lou Warren, Sue Jordan, Harry Jr. “Sonny”, George and Jerry Benford.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences may be shared at www.bedfordfuneralchapel.com.

Our hearts are broken, we will miss you greatly, and think of you often. In the absence of our mother/grandmother, your quick wit, no-nonsense advice, and humor helped us miss her less, but now we are lost once more. We will always hold you in our hearts, and one day we will see you again.

Tom and Tommy and family - I'm so saddened to hear of Bonnie's passing. She is such a fun and loving person . Nobody had better times growing up than our gang on West Delaware Ave. What great times we had and Bonnie was such a huge part of that. ( even when she and my sister decided to try their hand at hair coloring and turned my hair orange!) lol. The world is a sadder place without Bonnie in it. My love to you all.
