Bonnie Sue Spillane

Bonnie Sue Spillane, 77 years, of Ottawa Lake, MI passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in her home. The daughter of Herbert and Olabelle (Boyd) Rowe she was born March 13, 1947 in Angola, IN. A 1965 graduate of Prairie Heights High School in Indiana, she married Shaun M. Spillane March 19, 1966 in Angola.

A devoted gardener, her garden was featured on the Bedford Gardens Club Tour. Bonnie enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles having over 150 WM puzzles, going to garage sales, going out with friends and playing card games. Bingo games were her passion, and she looked forward to playing lightning bingo. Bonnie liked to collect chicken pictures and figurines to decorate her garden and kitchen with and she also crocheted blankets and made ceramic figurines.

Bonnie and her husband, Shaun had a tradition of baking Christmas cookies and making various candies. She was an avid NASCAR fan as well as a Michigan Football fan.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Shaun; daughters, Deanna McClure, Sherry (Jeff) Post; grandchildren, Tiffany, Krystina, Dakota, Matthew, Alexis, Cameron, Carissa; great-grandchildren, McKinley, Aniyah, Aaliyah, Brandon, Mallery, Kennedy; brother, Claire (Barbara) Rowe; and sister, Eva Crawford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Paul and Brandon; siblings, Herbert Rowe, Don Rowe, Barbara Arnold, Dean Rowe, Larry Rowe, Annabelle Trammell, Laurel Rowe, and Rosemarie Rowe.
