Bruce Douglas Ruedisueli, 65 years, of Temperance, MI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. A former business agent, he retired as the President of the Detroit Laborers’ Union Local 1191. He enjoyed many years with the union. Providing support for the laborers brough him a great sense of purpose. He made many friendships during his time there.
The son of Michael Ruedisueli and the late Ann (Heimbach) Chisholm, he was born September 20, 1956 in Port Huron, MI.
Bruce was a big man with a big heart. He was full of love. He doted on his two dogs Molly and Bella. He loved his large, blended family. He was blessed with the gift of conversation and enjoyed telling stories while sharing a cold Budweiser.
In his retirement, he developed a weakness for corvettes and spent his time golfing with his brothers. He looked forward to his weekly dinner dates with Eden Grace. He enjoyed driving a long road on a sunny day with the music up while singing his favorite songs with his favorite people.
He is survived by his children, Douglas (Tracy) Ruedisueli, Jennifer Fackelman, Paige Ruedisueli, and Eden Pudlicki; father, Michael; siblings, Michael (Claudia) Ruedisueli, Mark (Chris) Ruedisueli, Pamela (Mark) Tornow, Mary (Earl) Isaac, Melissa (Joe) Wright; grandchildren Alexis, Aubrey and Andrew and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Bedford Memorial Gardens Cemetery, on Lewis Ave. near M151.
