Carolyn “Sue” Heffner, 76 years, of Temperance, MI passed away on April 8, 2023 in her home under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio with Angie and Tim by her side. The daughter of Elbert and Georgianna (Eckleberry) Heffner she was born in Toledo, OH.
Sue was a fun loving, kind and generous person. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo weekly until her Dementia limited her ability to play the game she loved. She retired from Fifth Third Bank after many years of service. Sue loved wolves and dogs and would collect anything with wolves on them.
Sue is survived by her loving niece, Angela (Tim) Bauerschmidt; great nephews and niece, Joshua (Monica) Bauerschmidt, Jeremiah Bauerschmidt and Amanda Bauerschmidt; nephew, Richard Heffner and nieces, April Heffner, Juanita (Art) Schwanbeck, Candy Clark and numerous great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Toledo Humane Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
