Danny Wayne Hurst

Danny Wayne Hurst, 72 years, of Temperance, MI passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025 in Hickory Ridge of Temperance under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The son of William and Mary (Morgan) Hurst he was born February 6, 1953 in Toledo, OH.

A supervisor for the railroad, he began his career as a trackman, retiring after over 30 years of service. He absolutely loved his job and the people he worked with.

Danny loved coming home on the weekends after being out of town all week and looked forward to working in the yard and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed playing cards, drinking a beer and catching up on their lives while he was away.

A loving husband and wonderful father, he was always a great provider.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Debra Lynn (Annarino); children, Danny Jr. (Kim) Hurst, Shawna (Marty) Castro, Vicki (Mike) Bryson; brothers, Darrell (Karen) Hurst, Gary (Teresa) Hurst, Greg (Beth) Hurst; 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where the funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Cremation is to follow. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo, OH.
