Delores Leona Dusseau, age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in Harborside Assisted Living, Luna Pier, Michigan surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ontario, Wisconsin on December 17, 1939 to John and Winifred (Burch) Jewel, Delores spent many years as a cherished resident of Erie, Michigan.
In addition to being a devoted farmer’s wife, Delores enjoyed sewing, canning, baking, completing crossword puzzles, and indulging in her passion for shopping and returning items.
She is survived by her children, Joseph (Darcy) Dusseau, Daniel (Peggy) Dusseau, and Teresa (Mark) Benedict; sister, Monica Jewel; and was affectionately known as “Mimi” to her 7 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Delores was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Raymond Dusseau, her son, Raymond Dusseau Jr., her grandson, Brandon Milletti, as well as 6 brothers and 1 sister.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to her family will be remembered and cherished always.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. The funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Temperance. Cremation will follow.
