Dennis J. Tobianski Sr., 80 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Regency Hospital, Sylvania, OH. A 3rd generation UAW member and employee for Dana Corporation, he retired after 40 years. The son of the late Harry and Stella (Piorkowski) Tobianski, he was born on December 30, 1944 in Toledo. A 1963 graduate of Macomber High School, Dennis married Norma Jean Best on October 30, 1965.
Dennis liked to play golf and bowl, and he loved watching the Detroit Tigers and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He liked to play his guitar and was always strumming a tune. Known as “Mr. Fix-It”, he could fix anything and took great pride in his lawn and landscaping.
Dennis loved spending time with his family and friends. He and Norma enjoyed the special group of friends that they celebrated New Years with for over 50 years.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Norma, children, Dennis Jr. (Beckie) Tobianski, Beth Morrow, Brian (Yvonne) Tobianski; grandchildren, Jerry Korakas III, Karl Tobianski, Aaron Morrow; brother, Ronald (Connie) Tobianski; sister, Carol (Michael) Slovek, sister-in-law, Connie Tobianski and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved cat, Gabby. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerome (Ruth) Tobianski and David Tobianski.
Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. The funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Temperance. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
