On November 7, 2020 Diana J. Britton ran into the arms of our lord and savior after an amazing life on this earth full of love and servitude.
Born April 12, 1947, the daughter of the late Donald E. Britton and Dorothy G. Britton and loving sister of Donna L. Siewert (Herb) who preceded her in death.
Aunt but truly more of a sister to Herb Siewert Jr., Donald Siewert and Victor Siewert. Auntie Di also leaves a tremendous loving and caring legacy to many nieces and nephews of many generations. Diane was also blessed with many lifelong and close friends that shared mutual love and support.
Diane retired from ATT/Ohio Bell after almost 40 years of service. Her passions were horses, animals in general, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, family and friends. Diana had many hobbies including sketching portraits of horses, animals and family. She lovingly knitted blankets for all the great-great nieces and nephews, and making beaded bracelets, earrings and necklaces was her passion. We all looked forward to when Auntie Di would visit, as she always arrived with her newest jewelry creations in tow.
Diana was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and most recently the Mayfair Plymouth Congregational Christian Church where for several years she shared her sweet spirit and talents by helping with Wednesday night kids ministry.
Caring for all and asking for little, is best way to describe Diane, true representation of Mathew 22 verse 39 “”Love your neighbor as yourself””. We all love you and will miss you until we meet again.
The family would like to thank Recovery International for their support and friendship to Diana over the years recoveryinternational.org click on support link. Memorial Donations can be sent to Recovery International, 1415 W. 22nd Street-Tower Floor, Oak Brook, IL 60523. Services will be private.
