Edna Brock

Edna Christine Brock, 92 years of Temperance, MI passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022. She was born May 16, 1929 in Nicholasville, Kentucky to Willie and Rose (Lack) Lowry.

Edna married John Brock on November 29, 1945 and together they had 11 children. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a longtime member of Countryside Wesleyan Church.

Edna had many hobbies including, reading, watching cooking shows, shopping, going out to eat, taking rides in the country with her son Bobby and most of all spending time with her family. She also enjoyed arts and crafts and was great at embroidering. She loved to garden and care for her herbs and flowers.

She is survived by her loving children, William Brock, Patricia (Joseph) English, Shirley Baer, Joyce Worrell, Rose Brock, Kathy Gaines, Betty (Bruce) Brock, Robert Brock, Tina (David) Clark, Anna Rank and grandson she raised, James “Bird” Thrush; brother, Willie “Junior”, Virgil “Buzzy” (Jennifer) Lowry, Mary Marcos; 24 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Sr.; son, John Jr.; grandchildren, Johnny Baer, Hobie Baer, Brad Worrell; great-granddaughter, Savanna Sprayberry; brothers, Perry Lowry and Gene Lowry.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI where the funeral service will be Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
