Edward C. DeSimpelaere, 65 years, of Erie, MI passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 in Toledo Hospital. An over the road truck driver, he retired after 20 years. The son of Albert and Joanne (Willard) DeSimpelaere he was born May 10, 1955 in Toledo.
Edward was a very caring and giving man, never saying no to anyone that needed help. He enjoyed NHRA Dragg Racing, Detroit Tigers, and traveling.
He was a very proud father of his only son, Edward Charles DeSimpelaere II, who survives. He also had 8 siblings.
Cremation has been held and his ashes will be buried at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Resurrection Cemetery.
