Eleanor Wolniewicz, 97, of Toledo, OH passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo on October 21, 1920 to Leo and Stella (Klatt) Zaborski. July 19, 1947 she married Floyd Wolniewicz and he preceded her in death.
Eleanor worked 25 years at Craftmaster in Toledo.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Ron) Hamen; sons, Tom (Deb), Rick (Karen), and Terry Wolniewicz; 13 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Nancy; brothers, Raymond, Melvin, and Robert Zaborski; sisters, Irene Burke, and Adeline Elkington.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Clements Catholic Church, Toledo, where she will lie in state after 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
I am glad that I got to see Aunt Elenor when I was in Toledo last year with my husband and brother-in-law. I always admired her sense of humour and her positive outlook on life. I hope that she is having fun up in heaven and playing a round of cards with my Grandma and Aunt Irene. I wish her family the best.

I'm sad to see the passing of Aunt Eleanor. I send a prayer to the family at this sad time and the wish to remember all the happy times. I miss the get togethers at Busia's house and my parents house. I'm sad that I won't be able to attend the funeral home or at the cemetery. I'm for at least a little while longer I'm still homebound. I hope the family is doing well and in good health.
