Harold B. Shimel, 85 years, of Temperance, MI passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, surrounded by his family. The son of the late Fred and Luella (Dees) Shimel he was born on November 14, 1937 in Onaway, MI. He retired from the Dana Corp.
Harold enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. A member of Lewis Avenue Baptist Church where he served as an usher for many years.
Harold is survived by his wife, Cindy Shimel; son, Jeff (Marianne) Shimel; several grandchildren; sisters, Inez Weber and Grace Skudlarek-Galvin; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Emery Shimel and James Shimel.
Services will be private. There will be a celebration of Life held later this year. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI.
