Harold S. Eighmey aka, Sonny and Eb, 77 years, of Temperance, MI passed away at Regency Hospital, Sylvania, on Sunday, December 11, 2016. Harold was born on February 19, 1939, to Harold C. and Anna (Grosteffon) Eighmey, in Temperance. On November, 29 1958 he married his high school sweetheart Donna Schmidt. Harold retired after 31 years as a supervisor from GM Powertrain. He was a member of Ottawa Lake Sportsman Club for over 20 years and also attended Whiteford Wesleyan Church.
Harold enjoyed hunting with his family, fishing, golfing, Nascar, tractor pulling but most of all being with his family and friends. A loving and caring husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Dennis (Kim) Eighmey, Scott (Tammy) Eighmey; daughter, Angela (Ed) Bojanowski; grandchildren, Jim and Corey Ness, Eric and Ethin Eighmey, Callie (Kurtis Lucht) Eighmey, Kaylynne and Chad Ryan; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Cheyenne Ness and sister Joanne. He is preceded in death by, parents; siblings, Bob, Fern, Letha, Alberta; son-in-law, Bob Ness.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. in Whiteford Wesleyan Church. Arrangements entrusted to Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI.
