Dear Michelle and family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting her, reading her obituary made it clear where Michelle got her ambition from. Your mother, being raised in Germany during such a dark chapter and then immigrating to a new country, must have been an incredibly strong and resilient person. Her legacy of strength and determination lives on in all of you. Please accept my deepest condolences during this difficult time. My thoughts are with you and your family. Sincerely, David Smith Horizon Education Centers

I am very sorry for your loss. As the mom of my dearest and longest friend, Michelle, I have lots of wonderful memories of Hedy. Always sweet and full of conversation and stories. I loved going to JCP for Hedy to help with a watch fix. I know you and Ernst are sitting on a bench in Heaven smiling ear to ear.

Extending deepest condolences to Hedy's family during this difficult time. As newer members of the American Legion post, we really enjoyed our chats with Hedy during the Legion's Wednesday night "Brats and Burgers." In addition, she by far, made the best potato salad and raspberry bars and had great raffle ticket selling skills. Her devotion and support to the Legion is appreciated and she will be greatly missed.
