James D. Dudek

November 1, 1961 - May 13, 2024

James D. Dudek, 62 of Crestview, FL was called home to his Lord on Monday, May 13, 2024, passing away peacefully at the North Okaloosa Medical Center after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. The son of Daniel and Phyllis (Kempski) Dudek he was born November 1, 1961 in Toledo, OH.

 

Jim grew up in the Point Place Community and was a 1980 graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School. After high school he joined the U.S. Air Force, where he earned the rank of Major, before retiring in 2020.

 

He is survived by his mother, Phyllis; siblings Audrey (Gary) Schnabel; Jeff (Deb) Dudek; Sue Dudek nieces and nephews, Andrew and Megan Greenley, Nick (Amy) Dudek, Katelyn Dudek, and Griffin Burkhardt. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel.
