Jeffery Allen Morris

Jeffery Allen Morris, 58 years, of Monroe, MI passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026 in Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI. The son of Kenneth and Elizabeth (Payne) Morris he was born September 29, 1967 in Toledo, OH.

Jeffery worked as a press operator for Yanfeng Global Automotive Interiors. He obtained his GED, attended trucking school and then drove for Warner Truck.

A sociable, kind, charismatic, and caring person, Jeffery liked to play bingo and in his younger days you could find him playing pool at the Silver Cue. He loved being outdoors and would ride his bike often. He coached football, basketball, softball, and baseball in Monroe County and various Wayne County cities including coaching baseball for Monroe High School. He enjoyed spending time with all his grandchildren.

Jeffery is survived by his daughter, Morgan (fiancé Jason Olson) Morris, son, James (Tammy) Braden; sister, Autumn Morris; stepmother, Karen Dendinger; grandchildren, Jordan Allen Olson, Mackenzie Elizabeth Marie Olson; life partner and best friend, Lori Rafter; stepchildren, Steve Rafter, Chris Rafter, Heather Rafter; step-grandchildren, Zackary Rafter, Emma Rafter, Thomas Rafter, and Adrian Rafter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth and mother, Elizabeth “Betty” whom he took care of until she passed in 2014.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from Noon until 3:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI.
