Lillian Cadaret

Lillian Doris Cadaret, 86 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 peacefully surrounded by her family under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The daughter of Cloyd and Marie (Reed) Houke she was born on March 2, 1935 in Toledo, OH.

Lillian married the love of her life, Jack Cadaret on July 26, 1952. They resided in Temperance, MI where they built a beautiful life together and raised nine children. A retired custodian from Bedford Public Schools, she loved her job and made some lifetime friends.

Lillian enjoyed baking, crafting and watching her favorite TV show, The Golden Girls. She enjoyed playing SkipBO and putting together puzzles, but her favorite thing was spending time with her family.  

Lillian is survived by her children, Jack (Carol) Cadaret, Ralph (Peggy) Cadaret, Calvin (Bobbie) Cadaret, Alan (Vicky) Cadaret, Valerie (Mike) Mitchell, Nadine (Dan) Woodbury and Renee Fox; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and sister, Pat Trychel; son-in-law, Rick Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; son, Jay Cadaret; daughter, Janet Mitchell and son-in-law, Dean Fox.

The family would especially like to extend their gratitude for the wonderful care and support from her nurse Jaime and all the nurse’s aides.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave Temperance, MI 48182 where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery LaSalle, MI.  Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
