Lois N. Vess, 91 years, of Toledo, OH passed away on April 19, 2023 in Ebeid Hospice. The daughter of Paul and Pearl Nutting she was born on September 30, 1931 in Detroit, MI.

Lois lived a simple and private life where she enjoyed nature and watching birds. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Lois loved her beloved cat, Maddy.

Lois is survived by her loving nieces, Catherine (Amos) Hall, Rebecca Nutting and Kimberly (Patrick) Gallagher; nephew, Michael (Sherry) Nutting; 4 great nieces; 2 great-nephews; 4 great-great nephews; 1 great-great niece and sister-in-law, Marie Nutting. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Nutting.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI.

Love and will miss you.... you had so much h class and love for everyone 💗

She was a second cousin to me and my siblings. Had many conversations with her in recent years mostly about our parents and concerned about their health etc. A very thoughtful christian and informative about my father in his early life. She will be missed and thoughts and prayers to the family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lois through her niece, Cathy. I started referring to her as “Aunt Lois” myself. Such a kind soul. May she rest in paradise and be surrounded with lots of love and all her past animals. Hugs and prayers to all of her family and friends who loved her. ❤️
