Loretta Barnett

Loretta Zane (Becker) Barnett  passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in her Temperance, MI  home after a long illness. She was cared for by her loving husband, Larry, and her loving children. Loretta was born on July 22, 1943 in Toledo, OH to Burdette and Betty (Shrewsbery) Becker. 

Loretta was an Ordained Minister through Evangelical Church Alliance and was a long time member of Northpoint Church. While there she was involved in teaching Bible Studies and in Women’s Ministry. She also served in Biblical Counseling to women until she retired.

Loretta is survived by her husband of  61 years, Larry J. Barnett; children, Debbie (Jim) McCracken, Larry Jr., Ann (Dennis) Biglin, Linda (Dennis) Ford; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy (Ed) Webb, Millie Brunn, Donna Schroyer; and brother, Donald (Linda) Becker. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Burdette; and a sister, Mary Jane.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 6, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor, Brad Wotring will be presiding.
