Madeline Lillian Slupczynski, 66 years, of Temperance, Michigan died Friday, December 30, 2016 in her home surrounded by her immediate family after a short battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
Born in Detroit, Michigan on January 8, 1950 to Peter and Marion Sloan, Madeline was the youngest of three children. Madeline met her husband of 46 years when she was just 15 years old. From then on her and her husband were inseparable. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to so many throughout the years.
Madeline loved the beach and spent as many opportunities as she could to dip her toes in the beautiful water and the hot sand. She was a frequent traveler and was always going somewhere for an adventure. She enjoyed reminiscing about her past adventures or future trips with her many friends and family. Madeline was extremely social and loved being able to connect with people young and old.
Madeline is survived by her husband, Witold (Clyde) Slupczynski; her daughters, Tammy and Tara; her granddaughter, Kayla McEachern.
In keeping with Madeline’s last wishes, there will be no memorial service.
