Martha (Hart) Wilkins “”Granny”” of Erie, MI went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, January 1, 2015 after 91 years, surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of Frank and Lucille (McKellips) Hart, she was born September 7, 1923 in Defiance, OH. Only one life so soon will pass, only what’s done for Jesus Christ, will last. Special people in her life who she loved spending time with were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by the love of her life, Charles Wilkins and her daughter, Martha Siler. She is survived by her loving children, Charles (Peggy) Hart, Gail (Gloria) Wilkins, Gary (Linda) Wilkins, Ronald (Chris) Wilkins, Charyle (Jim) Kuebler, Barbara (James) Halsey, 26 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great-grandchildren and her special nursing home friend, Libby. To respect Martha’s wishes there will be no services. In her honor donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
