Mary "Liz" Elizabeth Murray

Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Murray, 86 years of Toledo, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Majestic Care of Point Place under the care of Heartland Hospice. The daughter of Albert and Agnes (Fischer) Diemer she was born on April 29, 1939 in Ottawa, OH.

Mary had a saying in life “If you live right, things will go right.” This motto formed the way she lived her life and to the fullest. A hardworking person always making time to help out others and never judging a person but accepting them for who they were. She enjoyed playing Bingo, crafting, cooking and traveling. Above all of this she loved making and spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by her husband, Gustave “Gus”; children, Laura (Les) Darcey, Gina (Mickey) Kinsey, Kim Murray, Robert (Yuko) Murray and Nick (Jenny Ardwin) Murray; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Diemer; sister-in-law, Alice Diemer; many nieces and nephews as well as extended family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Marie Murray; siblings, Eugene “Bert” (Helen) Diemer, Roger Diemer, John “Jack” (Catharine) Diemer, Don Diemer and Janet (Marv) Dulles.
