Melvin E. Buchelt, 72 years, of Petersburg, MI passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in Toledo Hospital.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen (LaVoy); children, Ray Buchelt, Angela (James) Ednie, Jim Buchelt, Amanda LaVoy; grandchildren, Jesus Bojorquez, Alyssa Ednie, Andrew Ednie; sisters, Geri Scoby and Dorothy Whitmill; sister-in-law, Shirley Buchelt. He was preceded in death by brothers, Harry “”Junior”” and Robert Buchelt.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Temperance where he will lie in state after 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
