We’ve been Mike & Connie’s neighbors for 38 years. After we moved in, I remember him having to go in the summer to serve his time in the National Guard. He was given a moving and well deserved tribute to his service at his memorial on Saturday. Don will miss having conversations with him about the critters that visit in the field. I’ll miss his calls…Hi Anita, this is Mike your neighbor…in that voice that was strong but calming. Connie please know that we’re here should you need anything. Rest peacefully Mike.

My heart grieves at the loss of my kind, gentle and compassionate brother-in -law and goes out to my dear sister, Connie, niece and nephew, Lisa & Brian and their families. Mike was quite a guy! He worked hard to support his family and was quite the super man in projects and caring for house & home, as well. At an early age, he admirably served his country in the National Guard. In his quiet, calm and humble way, he always was there with a helping hand for friends and family. I admired all of that about him and, most of all am grateful for the love he had for my sister and their family, as it continued to grow. I will miss him, but will always remember, fondly, laughs and good times we had over the years. My heart is breaking for my sister, niece & nephew and their kids and I send all my love and deepest condolences. Holding them all close in my heart throughout this painful time of loss and grief. Rest in peace dear Mike.

What can we say about Mike? Mike is a stand -up guy... some one you could always depend on.. In the construction Industry Mike was well liked, even preferred by some of our clients. Well organized and worked great with others.. always up for the challenge. Really enjoy his company and curiosity. Mike, your Great Lakes family will miss you. Rest in Peace my friend, until we meet again inside the Pearly Gates with our Heavenly Family

Mike and I became friends at 8 yrs old. The memories of riding bicycles, mini bikes, dirt bikes, street bikes and summer vacations to Hemlock Lake are priceless. If you knew Mike, you knew of his love for his family, friends and Country. Mike was always there for you. He is sadly missed by all who were blessed to know him. Connie and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
