Captain Milton Royce (Wally) Waldrop, 87 died peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born May 24th, 1931 in DeKalb, Texas, he was the son of the late Nixon and Louise (Clark) Waldrop.
Shortly after graduating High School, Milton served in the U.S. Navy for four years and went on to become a Tug Captain for Great Lakes Towing. In 1979 Milton furthered his career by becoming a Ships Pilot for the Great Lakes Pilot Association retiring in 2001.
Milton is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Patsy Waldrop; brother, Gary Waldrop; along with his 8 children; Michael (Lisa) Waldrop, Sandra (Jerry) Spencer, Julie (Michael) Shine, Michael (Sally) Lock, Patti Jo (Steve) Baldwin, Don (Bubba) Radebaugh, the late Janet Radebaugh, Linda (Russ) Lohsen; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
