Nancy Vaughn

Nancy Lee Vaughn, 77 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 2, 2022 in her home. Nancy was born on April 24,1945 in Toledo, OH to John and Dorothy (Ragan) Bius. She moved to Temperance, MI as a child and attended Bedford Schools.

Shortly after school Nancy met the love of her life, Kenneth Ray Vaughn. She and Ken married in 1966 and have been married for 56 years. In 1968 they moved into their current home in Lambertville, MI where she helped raise several family members. Later Ken and Nancy started their own family which includes, Karen (Steve) Ledzianowski, Rick (Amber) Vaughn, Leslie (Troy) Setlock and Kenneth Vaughn Jr. Nancy’s greatest joy in life was being a mother and a grandmother. She took great pride in caring for her grandchildren, Kendra (Shane), Kyle, Alec, Cody, Taylor, Kenneth, Cameron, Nicole, Kyann, Khloe and great-granddaughter, Lylah.

Nancy loved being at home and spending time with her family. You could always count on her to be there when you needed her. She was a devoted wife and loved Ken with all her heart. Her family was her life, and she loved every one of them.

In her free time Nancy liked to watch the Detroit Tigers and the Lions with Ken. She enjoyed feeding the birds so she could watch them outside her front window. She loved going to the casino. Her passion was taking photos and displaying them throughout her home for everyone to enjoy the memories. Most of all Nancy loved to take care of family and friends.

Nancy is also survived by her siblings, Katherine (Edward) Hassen, Marilyn Kennedy, Vernon (Christine) Bius and James (Kay) Bius. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Francis Christ; brother, John Bius II, a very special niece, Karen Sue Christ and her beloved Chihuahua’s Taco and Bell.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo, OH.
