Norbert James Beauch, age 85 years, of Temperance, MI passed away January 4, 2017 in Vibrant Life Assisted Living under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The son of Clayton and Frances (Stark) Beauch he was born on November 8, 1931 in LaSalle, MI.
Norbert served in the Korean War where he was the recipient of the 2 Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart Medal. He married the love of his life Dolores Ridgeway on May 28, 1954 whom he spent 57 years together before her passing on June 30, 2011. He worked for Colombia Gas of Ohio as an inspector retiring in 1994 after 37 years of service. Norbert enjoyed playing the guitar, deer hunting with his brothers in Pennsylvania, bowling with his sons and grandchildren and taking care of his family and yard.
Norbert is survived by his loving children; Ric (Mary) Beauch, Doug (Kim) Beauch and Darcy (Tom) LaPointe; grandchildren, Bridget, Eric (Ashley), Daniel (Abby) and Alan (Raquel); brother, Dale (K.D.) Beauch; sister-in-laws, Diane Beauch and Patricia Carozza.
Preceded in death by his wife, Dolores; sister, Shirley (Jack) Krawetzke; brothers, Donald (Carol) and Paul Beauch.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Avenue, Temperance MI. The funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Temperance MI where he will lie in state in the narthex after 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Erie, MI where military honors will be conducted by the Lambertville VFW Post 9656. Donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
