Pamela Susan Puhl, 64 years, of Temperance, MI passed into the arms of Jesus Christ her Savior with her family and friends by her side on April 16, 2026 in her home. She was born on April 10, 1962 in Toledo, OH to Gerald P. and Patricia C. (Ahrens) Sobczak. Pam graduated from Bedford High School in May 1980.
Pam was a homemaker and mother first and foremost, although she did have a few other jobs over the years such as custodial maintenance at Lourdes College, culinary assistant at Notre Dame Academy and Provincial Center, manager and cashier at the Banana Split Café in Walbridge, OH, One Hr. Dry Cleaners, Creative Fine Foods and Restaurant Concepts at Dana Corporation, and Murray’s Discount Auto as a cashier.
Pam had received her blackbelt in Isshin Ryu Karate and ASJF Judo and was a great Cub Scout leader. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, and making buttons. She could operate a lathe and surface grinders, along with many machines and various tools. A do-it-yourself mechanic, she also did auto body repair and welding. She liked metal and woodworking, engraving, painting, and toy building. A lefty with great ideas, she had beautiful hand writing, was a talented author, a puzzle worker, and a devoted pug mom. Pam was truly a Jane of all trades and a fixer extraordinaire!
She had a great passion for life and she loved her family and friends. Most of all, she loved Jesus Christ and her Bible. A kind and generous person, she always tried to help others when in need. Pam always wanted to leave you with a smile, a laugh, or a tune.

In Pam’s own words:
“I hope you will pick up the Bible and start reading it. Remember He brought you here and you should live according to His will. Never blame the Lord for His decisions for He knows what’s best for you. Please make time to read the Bible. It is a roadmap in your life to get to heaven. Trust in the Lord and be patient. Be patient, be patient, be patient! He will never fail you because He loves you. Read His word for it is a sword to protect you from Satan and his deceiving works.
I hope you will ask the Lord into your heart and keep Him in your soul and never let Him go. He shed His own blood for us and He is the most precious gift we could ever have been given. I hope you learn to walk with Him in your trials in the future and have strong faith in Him for He will guide you through all things.”
The family gives a thank you to Hospice of NW Ohio for their excellent and loving care of Pam. A special thank you to Melissa, Chrissy, and Anna. Memorial donations may be made to Bedford Twp. Veterans Center 8020 Lewis Ave. Temperance MI.
