Patricia Manger

Patricia Ann Manger, 73, of Temperance, MI. Was welcomed into the arms of our Lord peacefully surrounded by her family and close friends on December 12, 2014 with Last Rights Ceremony presided over by Fr. Skip Littelmann. Patricia was born September 22, 1941 in Monroe, MI the daughter of Virgil and Dorothy (Bashaw) Grames. She was a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1959. January 9, 1960 she married Michael F. Manger Jr. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance, MI

Through 54 years of marriage, Pat, as her friends knew her, loved being surrounded by family and friends. After raising her four boys, Pat worked as a bus driver, studied at the University of Toledo, worked for the University of Toledo, and was a Medical Assistant for Oral Surgeon Dr. Pompeli in Monroe, MI from where she retired. Pat served on the Funeral Luncheon Committee for Our Lady of Mount Carmel where she also served as a Eucharistic Minister. Pat loved socializing and traveling with a group of long term friends that referred to themselves as “”The Card Club””. Pat is preceded in death by Her father Virgil L. Grames and mother Dorothy M. (Bashaw) Grames. Pat is survived by her loving husband Michael F. Manger Jr.; Children, Michael (Chip) F. Manger III (Kathy), Gregory A. Manger (Michelle), Paul M. Manger (John Hess), Christopher J. Manger (Nicole); Grand Children Britni Gass (Alex), Zachary (Heidi Blackrick), Justin Andrews (Michelle), Nicole Baker (Andrews) (Ian), Jase Andrews, Ryan (Natalia Santi), Mathew (Megan Wilber), Haydan, Ethan, and Olivia; Great Grand Children, Landon, Jude, Penelope and Xander. The family would like to express a very heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ronald Wainz MD and his staff, especially Rosie.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 4 p.m until 8 p.m and Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI.  The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt.
