Patrick was a gift from God given to Leamon and Sharon Yovanov on May 26, 1966. He attended the Monroe County ISD where he participated in several Special Olympics.
Patrick was a miracle. The family was told that he would not survive his first birthday, yet he celebrated 54 years. This only proved that he was a strong fighter.
Throughout his life he had faced many obstacles, surgeries, and illnesses. God blessed him with a peaceful passing on May 1, 2021 while in his sleep.
Patrick loved all types of music. He would always have a radio to his ear. He loved the fast beat of a loud song; the deep bass vibrations were his favorite. He would change the channels until he found just the right one, then turn it up 100%.
Patrick was his family’s Perfect person. He taught them to be accepting of people who are different. He made them smile and laugh with his infectious giggle that often had everyone in the room laughing, even his 11-month-old-Niece.
He is survived by his Father, Leamon; brother, Shaun (Kris) Yovanov, sisters, Susan (Pete) Hintz, Sandra (Kendall) Snow, Shelly (David) Petoskey. He was a beloved uncle to 5 nephews, Patrick, Zachary, Austin, Eric, Trent; 4 nieces, Ashley, Claire, Sydney, Audrey, and 3 great-nieces, Riley, Quinn, Jordan and godmother, Marilyn Halker.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother; grandparents, Wrush and Renona Yovanov; Michael and Lillian Oberski and godfather, Robert Oberski.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 3 :00 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI 48182. The funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, May 7, 2021 in Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Temperance.
Memorials may be made to the family for the Sharon A. Yovanov Softball Scholarship.
