Paul Glynn

Paul Arthur Glynn, 79 years, of Temperance, MI passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in The Toledo Hospital with his loving wife of 56 years, Nancy by his side.  The son of the late Thomas and Helen (Boyd) Glynn he was born on October 2, 1940 in Toledo, OH.

As one of fourteen children, Paul entered the workforce at an early age working for Gradel Inc. as an Asphalt Paver for 40 years and retiring from the Ohio Laborers in 1996 at the age of 56.

Paul enjoyed his retirement to the fullest, he loved working around the house, watching his beloved grandchildren at their sporting events and going to breakfast with his brothers or visiting his sisters over a cup of coffee.

Paul is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Kelly (Chris) Bogdanski; grandchildren, Connor and Murphy; siblings, Rita Brewer, Michael (Beverly), Patrick (Marylou), Ed (Kit), Fred (Chrissy), Catherine Hoag (Brad), Steven (Joe) and Cheryl; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Paul Jr., siblings, Thomas, William, Elizabeth Postlewait, Judith Shepherd and Marlene Yerg.

The family would like to Thank Toledo Hospital 9^th Floor ICU Critical Care staff for their care and compassion during his difficult time, especially his nurses Nicole, Megan and Page.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. where a scripture will be held at 7:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church where he will lie in state in the narthex after 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Stephen Rooney Officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking any monetary donations to be made to St. Mary Catholic Central Christian Services, 108 W Elm Ave, Monroe, Michigan 48162.
