Rachel A. Renn, age 81, of Lambertville died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on October 7, 2018. Rachel was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 9, 1937 the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret (Gribben) Quinn.
Rachel devoted her life to family and to the service of others. She was a longtime member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She sang in the choir, created flower arrangements placed in church, was a Helping Hand member and helped at the Rummage Sale. Rachel was very artistic and loved to paint. She also was a former member and former treasurer of the Bedford Artist Club.
Rachel is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Clifford J. Renn; daughters, Veronica (Russ) Holmes, Cecelia (Tom) Mallin; son, John Renn; grandchildren, Sara (Matt) Mason, Zachary (Corey) Holmes, Joshua Holmes, Heather Mallin, Lucas Mallin; great-grandchild Connor Holmes. Rachel is also survived by her sister Wanda (Joe) Fosgate, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rachel was preceded in death by her sons Markus C. Renn and Matthew M. Renn; her sisters, JoAnn Marsh, Betty Haman and Georgia Taylor; her brothers, James Quinn and Lawrence R. Quinn.
Rachel had a truly loving spirit and will be deeply missed by her family. She cherished each moment she was able to spend with them.
Her family wishes to express their immense gratitude to her longtime caretakers: Lisa Crane, Gail Mack and Ron Oehlers. Also, they are thankful to the more recent caretakers from ProMedica Hospice.
