We are sad to announce the passing of Rhonda Lynne Holey of Ida, MI. She passed away at age 62 on March 31, 2023. Rhonda passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with lung cancer.
She retired from Ford Motor Company in 2021 after 31 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spending time outdoors, especially planting flowers and watching the birds.
Rhonda is survived by her stepfather, Edward Boggess; son, Shawn (Amber) Holey; grandchildren, Alyssa, Angelina and Ethan; siblings, Susan James, David Carr, Kim Sharp, Cheryl Stump, Linda (Tom) Witfoth, Lorraine (Carl) Ecklund and Gayle (Stan) Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Carr and Nancy Boggess; son, Shane Holey and grandson, Alexander Holey.
A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where a celebration of life service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Park LaSalle, MI.
