Richard Lee Wooten, 66 years, of Temperance, MI passed away Friday, December 30, 2022. A semi-truck driver for many years he worked for Loma Trucking. He loved his semi, and his handle was “the travelin man”. The son of Herman and Julia (Brock) Wooten he was born February 6, 1956 in Trenton, MI. Richard served in the U.S. Navy.
Known as quite the ladies’ man, to say the least, he also loved going to the Casino and anything Harley Davidson.
Richard is survived by his loving children, Ricky Leriche, Nekcole (Shaun) Krumn, Spring (Dickie) Isom; grandchildren, Dalton, Sammantha, Kayla, Kasidy, Arreonna, Breonna; siblings, Tina Marlene Stormant, Gloria Jean Wooten, Diana Renner, Rita (Gary) Siebein, Colleen Chancey, Harold Wooten, Mary Ann (Wayne) Wooten; and many nieces and nephews who also loved him very much. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Wayne and Jerry Wooten.
Visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where the funeral service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
