Rosemary Trautman, age 88, of Temperance, MI passed away November 3, 2014 in Vibrant Life Elderly Care Center. The daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Kries) Dintzner, she was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 5, 1925.
Rosemary married Norbert Trautman on October 5, 1943 in St. Michael’s Catholic Church, sadly he precedes her in death on December 23, 1976. She and her husband owned and operated Trautman and Sons Body Shop from 1967-2005. She was employed by Toledo Scale for 20 years and also teaching Western Round Dancing for 20 years through Bedford Adult Education.
Rosemary is survived by her loving children: Norbert (Brenda) Trautman, Kathy Roush, and Sharon (Kim) Lennard. Also surviving are six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, November 7, 2014 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 8330 Lewis Ave Temperance, MI where she will lie in state in the narthex after 10 AM. Interment will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery, Lambertville, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor’s choice.
