Shirley Ann Trevathan

Shirley Ann Trevathan, 94 years, of Grosse Pointe, MI passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026 in ProMedica Toledo Hospital. The daughter of Lebro and Lillian (Jaddats) DeBaisio, she was born on May 10, 1932 in Detroit, MI.

Shirley attended St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Temperance, MI for the last 20 years and loved serving the Lord. Proud of her Italian heritage, she would bake every year her famous Pasella cookies during Christmas time no matter how busy life was for her family when they visited Treasure Island, FL. She always loved her wine evenings with her neighbors and eating cannoli’s from Bommarito’s Bakery.

A very happy and generous woman, Shirley was always thinking of others.  She retired from Bon Secour Hospital from the Pathology Department. Shirley loved entertaining her friends, going shopping, doing crossword puzzles and gardening in her flower beds.  She lived in a condo community where she had many friends and enjoyed playing cards and nickels.

Shirley is survived by her three grandsons; seven great-grandsons and three great-daughters. She was reunited with her beloved husband, Samuel and daughter, Rhonda. We will miss her but we are happy to know she is in Heaven with them.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where the funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Entombment will be private in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Mt.
