Suzanne Bomyea

Suzanne “”Sue”” Carol Bomyea, 75 years, of Temperance, MI joined her heavenly family on June 3, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of Carl and Ruth (Raymond) Gotha she was born on January 10, 1946 in Monroe, MI.

She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1964. Sue married the love of her life Robert Bomyea on July 25, 1964 in St. Anne Catholic Church in Monroe, MI. They started their life together in Klamath Falls, OR. With Bob being in the military they traveled the world for 22 years.

Sue worked as a tailor for many years, finally retiring from Men’s Warehouse in 2009. She had many talents and hobbies including jewelry making, golfing, bowling, sewing and making beautiful quilts for her loved ones. She also loved camping with Bob.

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert; sons, Robert and Michael (Alane) Bomyea; grandchildren, Heather ( Edwin) Yancey, Justan Boymea, Carrie (Ryan) Sund and Jennifer (John) Kutzly; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carlaine (Parks) Owens, Patti (Gene) Bialy, Terri (Larry) Stevens and Jill (Mark) Moore. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Karen Sue; sister, Sallie Estes; great nephew, James Meggison; mother and father in law; Robert and Carolyn Bomyea.

Per Sue’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be celebrated on June 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church 8330 Lewis Ave Temperance, MI where a gathering will begin in the narthex after 10:00 a.m.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave Temperance, MI.
