Thomas Hall Jr.

Thomas Howard Hall, Jr., 65 years, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022.

The son of Thomas H. and Shirley A. (Bates) Hall, Sr. he was born October 19, 1956 in Toledo.

Tom married Ottum Marie (Hammond) “Judy” or “Doc”, as he lovingly called her, on December 14, 1984. Together they enjoyed traveling the country and camping.

Tom loved to hop in the car just to take a drive. He couldn’t pass up a good deal on a vehicle; all 41 of them over the years! He dedicated himself as a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 23, 1988. Since then, he found great joy teaching others about the good news of God’s Kingdom.

He was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns!

Tom was compassionate, kind, humorous, and always willing to offer help to those in need. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memory is his bride of more than 37 years, Ottum Marie “Judy”; children, Debbie (Jerry) Sorosiak, Tracy Spychalski, Milly (Jeff) Iwanicki, Dixie Smarszcz, Eunice (Jeff) Agnew, Leslie Smarszcz, Amy (Brian) Morales; siblings, Bev Piper (Erich Whittaker), Charles Hall (Cathy McHugh), Karen (David) Miller; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where the Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A private burial will take place on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Northwood Congregation.
