To Vera's family and close friends: My heartfelt condolences. Very sorry to hear about Vera's passing. She lived a good long life, and touched everyone she met in a wonderful way. Vera was a beautiful sweet woman and full of kindness. I met Vera in 1984 when I started working at Helm Instrument. She was our front office receptionist and secretary, and did a fantastic job. Vera was friends with everyone at Helm, and we quickly became fast friends! Her kind friendly disposition and giant smile were infectious. She brightened up the room for everyone! Shortly after I met Vera at Helm, I took flying lessons and got my private pilot license. On a beautiful sunny Saturday morning, I took Vera for a local airplane ride. We started at Toledo Express airport and flew to several different airports for fun. She was a real trooper, and we both thoroughly enjoyed that flying time together! We went to lunch from time to time and really enjoyed each other's company. After Vera left Helm, my wife Kathy and I stayed in touch with her, and took her to lunch several times. Wonderful memories of spending time with a close friend and super nice person! Everyone loved Vera. She was just a wonderful sweet kind person. She will be badly missed by her family and friends. God Bless Vera! Rest in Peace. Rich Grogan, Perrysburg OH
