Therese Ann Uhl

November 6, 1962 - August 16, 2025

We have a little saint in heaven reaping her reward. Therese “Teri” Uhl was born November 6, 1962 to Richard and Mary (Schoen) Uhl in Toledo, OH. Teri passed away on August 16, 2025 at the age of 62 years.

Teri always had a smile for everyone she met and a little wave. She loved music especially “Grease”. Teri had been a long-time resident of Sunshine Children’s Home since she was 3 weeks old. She touched many lives there and considered all of the Sunshine staff, past and present her family.

She is survived by siblings, Cathy (Jim) Gorman, Butch (Sandy) Uhl, Chris Uhl, Karen (Tom) Taylor, Marty (Kathy) Uhl, Mary (Larry) Brown, Debbie (Roger) Brandel; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary; sister, Nancy (Russel) Stough; brother-in-law, Charles Schneider; and sister-in-law, Patty (Joyce) Uhl.

Services will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI.

The Uhl Family sincerely thanks everyone at the Sunshine Community for taking care of Teri.
