Barbara “Corky” Ann VanDyke, 74 years, of Toledo, Ohio passed away from Metaplastic Breast Cancer in the early morning on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The daughter of Marvin and Rose (Fabian) Ruth she was born on July 15, 1949 in Toledo, OH.
Barbara seemed to have an energy that attracted the best people into her life. She had amazing friends and family that were always there by her side. Barbara had great creative hobbies through the years. She enjoyed making chocolates, candy, cakes, crafting with beads and canning just about anything. Barbara always knew what to say, gave the best advice and had a great sense of humor. She had a great love for the people in her life and she was greatly loved.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Charles; children, Robert and Jessie as well as her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Roselawn Memorial Park LaSalle, MI. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI.
