Betty Lou (Plouck) Lamberson, age 92, of Toledo, OH passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020. She was born on August 12, 1928 to Earl and Ruth (Herzig) Plouck in Monclova, Ohio.
Betty was a graduate of Montpelier High School in Montpelier, OH. She married her husband LeRoy Lamberson July 30, 1949. Together they raised their daughters in Toledo, OH. Betty was a gifted artist. Many of her paintings are on display in her families homes. She retired from J.C. Penney’s (Miracle Mile) in 1989 after 20 years. This allowed her time to enjoy her grandchildren’s many activities. Always the avid sport fan, Ohio State was her team! She could be found at her families dance recitals, ball games and horse shows.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Cindy (Dan) Amos and Pam (John) Brighton; brother, Tom; 6 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy; brothers, Keith and Dick; sisters, Patty and Sharon and granddaughters, Molly and Ike.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a private celebration of Betty’s life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave Temperance, MI.
