Carol Ann Griffin, 80 years, of Erie, MI passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 in her home.
Carol was the former owner of The Turtle Club in the Point Place Community for many years.
She thoroughly enjoyed the company of friends and family.
She was born January 15, 1941 in Toledo, OH, the daughter of Russel and June (Andrews) Kisseberth. August 8, 1959 she married Edward Griffin; he passed in 2005.
She enjoyed the sun and throwing backyard pool parties. Carol wintered in Mexico for over 35 years. She loved to travel with her husband, visiting every state. She was a member of Bay View Yacht Club in Toledo, where she enjoyed playing golf.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacy (Wynne) Phillips; son, Edward (Shannon Balogh) Griffin; grandchildren, Jesse Griffin, Jaime (Phillip) Manes, Brandon Griffin, Logan Griffin, Bailey Griffin, Murrad (Jessica) Kabarday, Sasha (AJ Anderson) Kabarday and Lena (Andres Perez) Kabarday; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and loving nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Russ Jr., and an infant daughter, Cindy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. Cremation will follow.
