Carol Ruth (Sackman) Griffith, 82 years, of Temperance, MI passed away suddenly on October 5, 2017 surrounded by her family in Ebeid Hospice Residence at Flower Hospital.
Carol worked many years for State Farm Insurance until she wanted to pursue a career in realty. She became a licensed realtor and worked with Lindsey Realty over 15 years.
Carol loved to bowl, play pinochle, euchre and bridge, and going to the casinos with her sister and friends. Most of all, Carol was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, 4 years ago and is survived by her daughters, Linda Griffith, Terry (Jack) Griffith-Evans; son, Mark (Sherri) Griffith; 3 grandsons, Cody (Sarah) Griffith, Logan (Megan) Griffith, Levi Griffith; great-grandson, Grayson Griffith; sister, Vera Decker; 3 nieces and nephews; 5 great nieces and nephews and 8 great-great nieces and nephews. Carol will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was the best mom, grandma and great-grandma ever.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave Temperance, MI. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 4210 Central Ave Toledo, OH.
