Caroline E. Woodbury

Caroline E. Woodbury, 91 years, of Blissfield, MI and formerly of Lambertville, MI passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025 in her home. The daughter of William and Mildred (McGranahan) Hansen she was born September 3, 1934 in Toledo, OH.

She graduated from Bedford High School in 1952 and married Clarence “Butch” Woodbury June 6, 1953 in Our Savior Lutheran Church, Toledo and he preceded her in death in 2006. Caroline cleaned homes for over 30 years.

The life of the party, Caroline was always a “hoot” to be around. She was a very caring and loving person, had an amazing memory, and loved her family dearly. Caroline would look forward to sending out birthday cards to family and friends.

An avid bowler, she and her husband bowled on the Jug’s Kings & Queens, Lovers Ma & Pa, and Merry Makers leagues for many years. She was also a member of the Lambertville Civic Club, Blackhawk Motorcycle Club, American Motorcycle Assoc. #12, and the Northwest Ohio Motorcycle Assoc. for years.

Caroline is survived by her children, C. Al (Rene) Woodbury of Hubbard Lake, MI, Dan Woodbury, of Toledo, Jackie (Bill) Taylor, of Blissfield, Steve (Mandy) Woodbury of Walbridge, OH; 10 loving grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; sister, Edith Haney; brothers, Dick and Bill Hansen; and daughter-in-law, Nandine.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where the funeral service will be held Monday, December 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
