Catherine Mae Shake, 88 years, Toledo, OH passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 in Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, OH.The daughter of Clarence and Lola (Wilkens–Martin) Gable she was born on July 27, 1934 in Toledo, OH.
Catherine was a bus driver for Bedford Public Schools for over 30 years and a courier for Promedica for 10 years. She loved getting together with former co-workers and friends. Anavid golfer she was in many golf leagues over the years. Catherine enjoyed crocheting, reading, traveling, going to casinos and loved her cats.
Catherine is survived by her children, Cathy Steele and Daniel Shake and many loving grand and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; daughter,Cynthia; son, Donald Jr.; grandchildren, Mandalyn Shake andDrew Steele.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. where the Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH.
