Although I didn't know Charlotte well, I recall that my moments with her were always very pleasant ones. I remember her as a warm, good-natured and compassionate woman who showed an genuine interest in all that was shared with her. But especially, I remember her as being a kind and caring friend to my ailing parents in their final years. For that alone, I am eternally grateful for her comforting presence. I once recall preparing a meal especially for her while on a brief visit home, an endeavor in which I don't possess any great skill. I was charmed however by how gracious she was in accepting what I believed to be a simple gesture of fellowship. She, my parents and I enjoyed our time together that evening with much laughter and goodwill. Today I mourn her passing and offer my heartfelt condolences to her family in their loss. I know in my heart that Charlotte will find true and lasting peace in her place in heaven.

Dear, sweet Charlotte was someone I was privileged to call a friend. Although we had limited time together, because of distance, when we were together, we laughed over everything. Even when we complained, it seemed always to be about similar things, and we would make wise-cracks and giggle and then laugh about the way life happens. I have missed her for a long time, living in CA and unable to get back there to visit. Charlotte was my parent’s dear friend, first. She was there for them through thick and thin, during their failing years, as were others in her family, to which I will be eternally grateful. Getting to know each other through my parents was a true gift. I will cherish our friendship, always, and she will remain in my heart until the end. Rest in peace, dear Charlotte. My deepest condolences to all of her family. Hope you can take comfort in happy memories and knowing her love will be with you always. Love to all of you. Lynette (Nikki)
