Charlotte Michalak, 74 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in St. Anne’s Hospital after suffering a heart attack. The daughter of Edward and Helen (Janiak) Kotecki she was born October 12, 1943 in Toledo, OH. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the University of Toledo, retiring in 2003.
Charlotte graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1961. She married Paul V. Michalak July 23, 1966.
Charlotte loved being with her grandchildren and watching them participate in sports. She enjoyed traveling and spending time at the cottage on Rose Lake and fishing there. She liked feeding and watching the birds every morning, working in the garden, and her sports car.
Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Paul; children, Matthew (Kristen) Michalak of Goodyear, AZ, Eric (Cheryl) Michalak of Toledo; and grandchildren, Autumn, Leo, and Alexis.
Visitation will be Monday, January 29, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. The funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Temperance, MI where there will be visiting after 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
